Yoga After Pregnancy & Birth Loss
Every second Saturday of the month @ 12:00 – 1:15 PM
January 12, February 9
This is a class for any woman who has experienced the loss of a child during pregnancy or after birth. Together, we create a safe space to move and heal our minds, bodies, and hearts.
Yoga has long been a tool to encourage healing and this class is specifically tailored to women in all parts of their healing journey. We use breathing exercises, movements, yoga poses and meditation to connect with our own selves, release emotions and find peace in the midst of grief.
This group offers support, acceptance, connection, and community, which are vital to the healing process.
Within this yoga practice, we will focus on breath work (to slow down our racing thoughts and connect with our bodies), poses specifically tailored to your body’s needs (depending on where you are within your healing journey) and movements to support you in feeling empowered. Each class will end with a special guided meditation, to foster self-love and healing.
This group is led by Nora Doebrich, Certified Yoga Instructor, Art Therapist, Mother and Pregnancy loss survivor. Along with her own personal perspective, Nora brings over 10 years of experience, providing therapy and support to women and families who have experienced the loss of a child.
Due to the intention of providing a safe space for helping women, we kindly ask that women who are currently pregnant choose another class in our schedule.
